The City of Atlantis by Meebox
*Contains PR Products*
I feel like I look forward to my Meebox even more now that they are fewer and further between…how about you? Needless to say I was very excited to receive this months City of Atlantis edition.
This box sourced its inspo from the underwater world of mermaids, fish and the coral reef, and includes three gorgeous polishes that fit perfectly in with the theme, a much welcomed foot soak, a stamping plate and a stamper/scraper too.
Today I am going to share with you my swatches, review, and a little taste of what art you can come up with using this wonderful box of goodies…
Color Club - Hooked
The photo for this doesn’t do the awesome colour shift this polish has any justice at all. Although looking like a turquoise - blue shade, this also has hint of purple and green depending on how the light hits it.
As with all Colour Club polishes that I’ve tried, the formula is one of the very best….fully opaque in two swift coats.
Prism Polish - Merula
Prism Polish has to be one of my fave indie brands out there, the quality of products they bring to you are just top-notch. Merula is a gorgeous creme polish that applies like a dream, two coats to perfection and self-levelling too.
Such a lovely shade for the spring/summer months!
Cuccio Colour - Peace, Love & Purple
I don’t own many Cuccio polishes, but the ones that I do have always perform beautifully. This one is no exception, I used two coats for full opacity and the formula is that of another lovely creme.
Born Pretty - Sea World Stamping Plate, and Stamper/Scraper
Stamping is one of my fave types of nail art, so I was more than happy to find a stamping plate in here! Born Pretty do some fab plates, and I fell lucky on not already owning this particular one. It has of course an underwater theme to tie in with the box, including images of mermaids, fish, seashells and water prints.
The above look is just one of many that you could create!
As mentioned at the beginning, also included is the Cuccio Foot Soak, nobody needs to be seeing pics of my feet on here, but I can tell you that the soak itself smells absolutely divine and I can’t wait to sit down and give my feet a bit of a pamper.
As always Meebox has brought to you another fantastic collection of goodies, if you want to get your hands on this edition, pop over to Meebox.co.uk. It will cost you £30 which is fantastic value considering all polishes are full size and you have the extra accessories and soak lovingly thrown in too.
Thank you so much for reading,
Love, Leanne Xx
