Pool Party by Meebox
**Contains PR products**
This month we are invited by Meebox to join in and celebrate their 3rd Birthday - Happy Birthday Meebox! The theme of the box is 'Pool Party', and it includes 4 beautiful polishes, some glitter mix, nail wraps, a stamping plate and a double ended stamp pen. The RRP of all of these goodies comes to around £44, so in usual Meebox fashion - we are getting plenty of bang for our buck!
Lets take a look at the polishes in this post, and I will put up another post this week talking more about the nail art products...
Barry M - Dragon Fruit
I'm going to get my least favourite polish out of the way first - yes, you read that right - a pink polish, my least favourite?! I was quite surprised by this too because I generally love Barry M polishes, I really do, but for some reason this one was a bit temperamental. I found it to be a little runny, and it took three coats to build up to full cover.
However, I still love the colour, it even has sweet and subtle shimmers within and it dries to a beautiful high gloss finish. To purchase this separately it would cost £3.99.
A-England - Puck A Fairy
Here we have my most favourite polish out of the box! So sparkly, so vibrant, so....perfect! A-England is held to very high standards by me, their polishes are always to the best quality, I've yet to come across one that I don't like. Puck A Fairy is no exception, look at the bright, bold colour, complete with the most beautiful holo sparkles.
My photo captured this one to be quite blue, but actually under most lights it looks turquoise, I think all of those sparkles threw my camera off! It took two coats for full and even cover, adding a glossy topcoat will really make the holo pop. To purchase this separately it would cost £11.
Iz Beauty - Forget Me Not
I will never get tired of this shade of blue, so soft and pastel-y! It took two generous coats for full and even cover, it does dry to a high shine finish but as always I popped on a super glossy topcoat.
Forget Me Not would cost £6 if purchased separately.
Iz Beauty - Eternally Emerald
Oh my goodness, look how gorgeous Eternally Emerald is! So much holo! Superb formula, just two coats to perfection, I'm going to get a lot of use out of this bad boy.
I do recommend adding a glossy topcoat as it does dry down with minimal shine, and we want those stunning holo sparkles to really shine don't we?! To purchase this one separately it would also cost £6.
Well there we have all four polishes from the Pool Party Meebox! Which is your favourite? Don't forget to subscribe to Meebox HERE, it only costs £20 per month and that includes p&p. You always get a great variety of products, and you may even discover some fab new brands to fall in love with.
Thank you for reading,
