Material Girl by Meebox

**contains PR products**

Meebox's theme for April is Material Girl, a box of goodies inspired by then and only Madonna. The box is worth £44.14 this time, so once again the value for money is incredible as you only pay £20 which includes delivery.

I thought that I would dedicate two posts for this box, one for swatches which is todays post, then another for nailart, so keep eyes peeled for part two!

Let's take a closer look at the polishes included...

Mavala - 48 Black

This is such a beautiful glossy black polish from a brand I've not tried before. It took two coats for full and even cover, and I found it to have the perfect consistency - not too thick and gloopy like some black polishes can get, and not too watery either. Perfect!

This bottle is 5ml in size, and to purchase individually it would cost £5.20 (RRP).

Models Own - Flylac

I think Flylac must be the first Models Own polish I've ever used that has a glitter within? It is a very pretty lilac shade with a very subtle hint of silver shimmer. The formula was easy to work with, applied nicely in two coats, and dried down to a low shine. I love Models Own polishes, and I love that they use a wide, flat, rounded applicator that just makes the whole process super easy, quick and tidy.

I have to admit that I don't care much for the packaging on the Sofly collection, its a little tacky, but at the end of the day it's the product inside that matters and I can't find any fault with this polish, it's too pretty haha!

Flylac comes in a 14ml bottle and the RRP is £4.99

Leighton Denny - Get Your Cote

Isn't it beautiful? I already have this colour in my ever growing Leighton Denny collection, it is one of my favourite shades of blue. You guys will already know by now that I adore this brand and everything that they come up with so I won't go overboard with this review...

Seeing as I already have a bottle of this, I'm thinking of doing a mini giveaway over on Instagram, so be sure to keep a look out as the new bottle could be yours!

Grab your Cote comes in a 12ml bottle and the RRp is £12

Floss Gloss - Gangsta Boo

Here is a brand that I've seen lot's of, but never actually tried out. It's a glossy true red, vampy polish that I found needed three generous coats to be fully opaque. I made a bit of a mess around the cuticles with this one, and it was a little bit of a struggle to clean up as reds are renowned for their staining!

Gangsta Boo comes in a 5.5ml bottle and the RRP is £9.95

So those are all of the polishes that came in April's Meebox, they have done a wonderful job in grouping together items that are inspired by Madonna's biggest fashion looks. I can't wait to start playing around creating designs using these products, along with the Moyou Stamping plate and Sparkly Nails black lace foil - but you will get a closer look at these items in part two.

Which is your favourite colour from the Material Girl box? Let me know!

Thank you for reading,

Love, Leanne Xx
