Kiki London Thermal Collection
I have a bunch of amazing thermals by Kiki London to show you today. Although I’m lucky enough to be an official brand ambassador for this particular gel brand, I do purchase the majority of products myself with a special discount. If there are any gels you see in this post that you feel you need in your life, please use code PolishedbyLeanne at checkout to save a whopping 15%!
OK, that’s enough shameless self-promo, let’s take a closer look at these badboys…
At the time of photoing the first two gels I have to show you I wasn’t actually planning on doing this post, so I only took one photo mid transition. Also, please excuse the shape of my nails for this swatch, I only noticed after posting and the image had already gotten quite a few likes so thought it daft to take it down and start over. The rest will be perfectly squared off claws!
When your hands are cold, this gel polish is a dark purple with a beautiful iridescent blue shimmer which then becomes a princess pink shade when your they start to warm up, retaining that iridescent goodness.
Here is one of my most favourite colours from the collection. When your hands are cold, this gel is a deep, dark almost black with gorgeous multicoloured twinkles. Then, as your hands warm up, it transforms into the softest, lightest pearly pink imaginable again with those pretty little glitters.
And did you notice?! Perfectly squared off haha! Looks better doesn’t it?
Out of all the thermal gels, this one is probably the most subtle. There is very little difference between transition shades, not that I mind as it is one of the prettiest shades of pink.
When your hands are cold the pink is a lot deeper, darker with a violet iridescent shimmer which turns slightly lighter and brighter as your hands warm up keeping that same glimmer of violet.
When your hands are cold, Exotic Mama is a lovely bright red which shifts to a rich, equally bright barbie pink as they warm up.
If you’re not a fan of shimmers, sparkles and iridescence - this gel is for you and there will be more to come for you later in the post too.
Here is another one of my favourites, I love the big leap in difference of colours. This is another one for those of you who prefer no shimmers and sparkles.
As you can see from the photos, when your hands are cold, the gel is a super bright yellowy orange - very much like Sunny D. As your hands begin to warm up it turns into a pretty peach shade, then finally if your hands have been in hot water, or if you’re just hot blooded - it turns into a very light peachy - pink.
I’m loving the colour change with this gel, it goes from a deep purple when hands are cold to an icy pale blue as they warm. It also has a very pretty blue sparkle in each state, but it really stands out against the purple.
Passion Duet is super vibrant! Your nails will be the envy of everyone whilst wearing this beauty. In cold state the gel is a lush, rich royal purple, then as the temperature rises it becomes a gorgeous fuchsia pink. Stunning!
This is probably the least favourite of mine from the collection. I don’t completely dislike it as I’m totally into the dark teal this gel is when it’s cold. When your hands warm up it becomes green. I’m not loving the green… Some people are going to absolutely love this, I’m thinking my pal Chrissie is going to be one of them haha! You’d totally rock this Chrissie.
I don’t know guys, its just so bright and I don’t like that my white tips peek through either. In fact they are almost glowing. I think it would look cool for certain nail art creations though… so stay tuned!
OK, that is the whole collection. What do you think? Which are your favourites?
You can buy each of these individually for £5.99 or go for the whole lot at £47.99. These are sale prices so grab yours before they go up to full price (remember you can use my discount code against sale prices too).
Each bottle contains 7.3ml of gel.
Thank you so much for reading,
Love, Leanne Xx
