Big Barry M Swatch and Review
*Contains PR products*
If you have read my previous post, ‘Molten Metal:New Shades from Barry M’, you will know that they were quite generous in sending out shades perfect for Halloween. Today I wanted to show you these shades, so be prepared for a photo heavy post!
There are 8 more polishes in total, and I have done 2 swatches for each, one with a matte finish using the Barry M matte top coat, and one with a super glossy finish. All of these polishes dry to a glossy finish naturally as they are from the Gel Hi Shine range.
So without further a do…lets get started!
No collection is complete without a bright white polish, perfect as a base for nail art, but thinking of Halloween, it will be the first polish I grab for creating googley eyes, teeth, webs …. the possibilities are endless! I’m looking forward to seeing how well this bad boy stamps too.
It was fully opaque in 2 swift coats, self-levelling and the typical Barry M round, flat brush made for a quick and easy application.
A lovely shade of grey, which again was fully opaque in 2 coats and had the same self-levelling formula. In fact all the polishes I have swatched for you are the same in terms of formula, perfect, so I’m going to stop repeating myself haha!
Hmmm I’m thinking Zombie and Monster nail art for this colour! But aside from that, I love this shade of Khaki Green, will be a great choice for Autumn/Winter.
Isn’t this a beautiful colour? A very bright red with a touch of orange, this is a polish that I’m going to gravitate towards on a regular basis.
Here’s another red-orange, this time a little deeper and darker.
This polish is a little different from the rest sent to me, it is one from their classic collection, and can be purchased for just £2.99. This one could do with 2-3 coats depending on how generous your coats are, as it is a little patchy on application. It’s the perfect blood-red colour though, and it will be getting plenty of use for Halloween nail art.
Is it black, or is it red? Either way its a gorgeous polish that somehow makes my nails look a touch longer than they are!
Black Forest is another of those colours that everyone needs in their collection. It can be the perfect base coat for nail art, and it’s another polish that I shall be trying out to see how well it stamps.
All polishes included with the exception of Siren retail at just £3.99 which I find to be exceptional value for money. If you want to buy any for yourself, please click HERE
That is it for todays post everyone, I hope it has been helpful to see these polishes with 2 different finishes. I’m going to have so much fun playing around with all of them, make sure you keep checking back here and over on Instagram to see some spooky and autumnal designs.
Thank you for reading,
Love, Leanne Xx
