Sand and Sky Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment : My Honest Review

**contains PR products**

Just when you thought Sand and Sky had created the BEST skincare product ever, they go and do it again with this bad boy! You may have seen the excitement again through Facebook and Instagram, but they have recently released an exfoliating treatment that works to tighten pores, mattify the skin, and also give you a healthy glow.

As with their hit Pink Clay Mask, this exfoliator is free of any nasty ingredients and is also cruelty free, vegan friendly.

What makes it so special?

Well this isn't just one of those exfoliators that you rub around your face and rinse straight off, with Sand and Sky you get a two for one treatment, so after massaging the product around the face for approx 30 seconds, leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing off.

The bamboo and macadamia seeds gently exfoliate and smooth the skin, and the fruit extracts along with the incredible Australian Pink Clay help to increase cellular turnover, resurface the skin, detoxify and refine pores. It will absorb excess oil to remove shine and tackle blemishes, giving that mattified, smooth finish. All in all your skin should be left with a heavenly radiant glow.

My personal results

I received this product on the 27th April, used it the very same day and noticed an instant result - and that is no exaggeration. My skin is clear of acne now, I have a little scarring but the horrible lumps and bumps are gone, if you're interested in finding out about my journey click HERE. Anyway, so the lumps and bumps are gone, but as my skin is quite sensitive, I've been hesitant to use an exfoliator - I just didn't want to upset my skin now that its calmed down so wonderfully.

However, as soon as I saw sneak peeks of this item, I knew I wanted to try it as I had so much faith and trust in the brand from being a consistent user of their mask. (I'm literally on my fourth pot now!)

I was delighted that the product didn't aggravate the skin, instead it seemed to completely smooth out any texture leaving my face feeling so lovely and soft. My skin looked brighter and healthier. To be honest I could have cried with happiness, its been such a long time since I've seen and felt my skin looking so good, and even though it's not 100% down to Sand and Sky, they have played a huge, huge part in it. This exfoliating treatment seems to have just been the cherry on top!

I love how this doesn't leave your skin feeling dried up and tight, most clay based products that I've used previously have left my skin feeling thirsty and in desperate need of hydration, you don't have that problem with Sand and Sky.

It is recommended to use this 2-3 times a week, I've probably used it three times over the past 9 days because I wanted to use it a handful of times before reviewing it, but I'll probably go to using it once a week now as I like to use the mask too. It's not advised to use both the exfoliator and mask together - it's just not necessary, so my plan is to use the exfoliator once a week, and the mask twice a week. Also worth mentioning here that if you don't have time for masks due to a busy and hectic lifestyle, this could be the answer as it only takes 5 minutes out of your day.

How much is it and where can I buy it?

You'll be pleased to know that it is available to buy here in the UK yayyy! My favourite online beauty shop - Beauty Bay has both items from Sand and Sky in stock. The exfoliating treatment costs £34.50 (free delivery) and the mask costs £39.50 also with free delivery.

You get 100ml in a tube and you honestly don't need to use an excessive amount. As mentioned before I've used this three times already and I can see through the tube that I still nearly have a full component.

I recommend both Sand and Sky products so highly, probably above any other product I've ever tried before. Although I like to change up my skincare routine from time to time, I know that I will never stray from these beauties.

Thank you so much for reading,

Love, Leanne Xx
