Nail Art Using New Madam Glam Goodies
*Contains PR Products*
If you follow me over on Instagram and/or Facebook you will most probably have seen that I’ve had the most amazing opportunity to work with top nail gel brand Madam Glam. I was very lucky to receive two beautiful, sparkly gel colours, along with two pigment powders which I will be trying out today for a mini review and of course a little bit of nail art too.
To kick things off, lets start with the two gel colours…
Fiesta in a Bottle
I decided to include some macro shots so you can fully see just how beautiful and sparkly these gels are. As you can see, Fiesta in a Bottle is a stunning bright and beautiful Barbie Pink with a rainbow of pretty sparkles throughout.
The photo shows two thin coats, along with the Madam Glam Soak Off Top Gel to seal it all in.
I’ve also done a little bit of stamping using one of my new Beauty Big Bangs plates, plate 021.
Another bright and beautiful gel, only this time blue. The glitters and sparkle in this particular gel were a little more eclectic, containing various shapes and sizes of holo. However this didn’t make the gel feel any more thicker or gloopy than the previous, and was just as easy to apply.
Here I’ve used two thin coats as before, but you can see my nail tips peeking through ever so slightly, so if this bothers you, I’d recommend three thin coats instead. I’ve also popped on the Madam Glam Soak Off Top Gel again to seal it all in.
Even though the gels are pretty enough worn alone, this is me we are talking about and I just had to do a little more stamping! I’ve used another new plate from Beauty Big Bang, plate 022.
Amazing how this product looks completely different in different lighting!
Promise is a multi chrome powder pigment which I’ve used over a black base. It shifts from a beautiful emerald green/turquoise/navy blue/purple/magenta. It is stunning. As for all swatches/designs in this post I have used the Madam Glam Soak Off Top Gel.
My nails have been getting lovely and long lately, so I felt like I could get away with doing some stamping on an angle and leaving some of the colour fully on show. Turned out quite well in my opinion! I’ve used another new plate by Beauty Big Bang, plate 024, which is actually very floral, but I managed to just pick up the basket weave design which looks quite effective.
Musca is a holo chrome powder which can be worn over any colour. In this photo I’m wearing a light lilac on the outer two fingers, and a dark purple on the middle two underneath the powder to see what difference - if any - there is.
The only slight difference I can see, is that over the darker polish this powder looks much more holo, and over the lighter polish it looks a touch more pearly. Very slight difference indeed, so to be honest, I don’t think it really matters what you wear underneath this powder, you’re still going to end up with a beautiful sparkly holo nail.
I did begin to stamp over this but I completely messed it up, so keep an eye out over on my instagram for more designs in the near future…
Out of these four gorgeous goodies that Madam Glam kindly sent over, I think my most favourite item has to be Fiesta in a Bottle, and Promise coming in at a very close second. What about you? Which is your favourite from this post?
