Super Scrummy Smoothie with Nutribullet
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I recently invested in a Nutribullet. My thinking is, now that I've got my Skincare and Makeup right, I need to tackle my eating habits to help my overall health and skin condition.
Its so exciting to get a new appliance for the kitchen haha! But quite overwhelming at the same time as there are hundreds of different recipes online to choose from. Let's start off simple...
Banana and Honey smoothie
- 2tsp flax seeds
- 1tbsp honey
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup fat free Greek yoghurt
....throw it all into the Nutribullet, start off with your liquids.
This is such a simple recipe and is so, so yummy! When it's really hot and you need it to be more chilled, just add ice! This smoothie would be perfect for your breakfast as it's packed full of vitamins and minerals, all helps to boost your energy and kickstart your day.
I love how the bullet can be turned into a beaker too, you can either add the black plastic ring for comfort or a flask top which shuts, perfect for when on the go.
My pack came with a metal cooling bullet too, great for juices or yoghurts. You can use it for smoothies but the longer they're left to cool, the thicker they will get.
We are slowly trying out different recipes with the help of Pinterest, using blueberries, pears, raspberries, even natural peanut butter! Kale is out as unfortunately I cannot stomach the taste of green smoothies, it's not for me at all, though my hubby enjoys tomatoes, carrot and cucumber smoothies....
