How to use Pinterest for your Blog

Lately I have been working harder at building my Pinterest page and learning more about how it all works in an effort to get my little blog out there a bit more. I have already noticed a significant improvement in views, but I know that there is much more to do!

I wanted to share a few things with you today, and hopefully they will help you too...

Group Boards

Join some! If there is a particular niche you like to blog about, search for it on Pinterest, then narrow the results down to 'boards'. There will be a little symbol to tell you which boards are 'group boards'...

Group boards

So if there is a board you would like to join, click follow and read the bio which usually gives you the steps to take to be invited. This often is very simple and only requires a follow and an email. Don't be put off if nothing happens and you don't get an invite, keep trying other boards.

Once you've got a few groups under your belt, start pinning! Try not to spam or you'll probably end up booted out, but sharing your posts in these groups will help to reach new people and expand your audience.

Facebook Groups

There are specific groups on Facebook to help connect you with other Pinners. The only one that I feel I have really connected with properly is 'Pinterest Automation', this is a brand new group and I highly recommend it if you want to learn more about Pinterest and genuinely want to chat and meet fellow pinners.

I have found this group extremely helpful, the amount of knowledge that gets shared is fantastic, the host is really friendly, and has actually hooked me up with group boards on Pinterest within my niches.

I hope that I can learn more and more from this group and help reach my full potential on Pinterest - Finally!

I hope that this post has been helpful in any small way, please know there is so, so much more to learn, and I will share what I learn with you along the way. I know that there are ways to check when the best times are to pin, ways to schedule your pins, etc.. but I'm building my way up to this.

If there's anything I can help you with, or if there's anything you can share with me, drop a comment below I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you as always for reading

Love, Leanne Xx
