Exciting Announcement!

Today I wanted to share with you guys my exciting plans to bring Polished by Leanne nail polish back! I have been spending a lot of time, effort and money on everything needed to make this new little business thrive!

I spend an awful amount of time on Instagram, and every now and again some lovely person will tag me in a photo of their beautiful nails using an old polish of mine. In that instant I feel a little sad, as I absolutely loved creating new polishes and seeing customers share their love for them with me. I enjoyed every aspect of it, from creating new goodies, to watching orders come through, to parcelling up, and to seeing customers share their exciting new polishes online.

Unfortunately I had to stop. Certain procedures had to be followed and I just couldn't afford it as we had just bought our first home (with much needed improvements) and we had a wedding to plan. I loved all the wonderful comments people left me when I announced my decision to stop, it really is so incredible and overwhelming the amount of support and love that is shared! With a heavy heart I carried on Polished by Leanne as nails and nailart, with the odd beauty and lifestyle snap, and here my blog was born.

A bit of light reading...

A few years have passed, but I always kept my eyes peeled, watching for ways I could return, properly! I'm so happy with how far things have come and how much easier it is for small businesses to get set up. As we are taking a year out from home improvements, I knew this was the time to invest some money and get the ball rolling...

I was so giddy to apply for and receive my CSPR! Money well spent! My next move was to buy all the ingredients needed to start mixing up my first collection. There is still so much more that needs to be sorted before I can begin to sell my products, but rest assured -- it is happening! For me, it is worth waiting for, and I hope you're all as excited as I am!

There was always doubt in my mind as to whether I would actually ever be able to get set back up, but I never completely gave up on the idea. If there is something in life that you really want to do -- go for it! Even if it takes time and lots of it! Chase your dreams, then catch them! People may be quick to tell you you can't do it, or put dampers on it, but don't listen - where there is will there's a way. Never give up.

More details to follow over the coming months...

Watch this space lovelies!

Love, Leanne Xx
