Skulls and Roses

*Contains PR Products*

Today I’m playing around with my Lina Spooklicious plate and Barry M polishes again. This time its all about skulls and roses, and I’m loving the design!

I have been using Blood Orange by Barry M quite a lot recently, I absolutely love how bright and beautiful it is. I used it on my pinky and pointer fingers, as well as to colour the roses in on the design.

After painting Blood Orange on the outer two nails, I used Cotton which is a plain white polish by Barry M also for the middle two nails as my base. I then used the reverse stamping technique to create the skulls and roses design.

As mentioned, I used Blood Orange to colour in the roses, along with Match for the leaves. Matte finishes have been my preference lately, I think its because I keep swooning over Nailgems designs over on Instagram (spoiler alert - guest post by Gemma coming soon!) her work is incredible, and nearly always with a matte finish. Of course I kept in with Barry M and used their matte topcoat to seal everything in.

What do you think? Which has been your favourite Halloween design so far this Blogtober?

Thanks for reading,

Love, Leanne Xx
