Nightmare Before Christmas Nail Design

*Contains PR products*

I hope I have this right, but if not please feel free to sound off in the comments… but todays stamping design is based on the Nightmare Before Christmas. I’m sure it is Jack Skellington’s face, but to be honest its a film I’ve still not sat and watched.

I’ve used Cienna Rose’s Je T’aime for the bloody red pointer and pinky nails, and Barry M’s Cotton and Black Forest for the middle two.

I should also fess up that I tried to make this a glow in the dark mani using one of the polishes my good friend Chrissie sent over, but it was a total fail, and my little Jack faces just wouldn’t light up the way I wanted them to. But hey, I’m still practising with these kind of polishes! It turned into a perfectly good design so I’m not too annoyed with myself.

You guys will know already that I used the Lina Spookilicious 01 plate for the stamping, I promise that I will invest in a good variety of spooky plates in time for next years Blogtober.

I decided to add a few cheeky black and white dots to the nails, mainly to tie the whole look together, which I feel it has done quite nicely.

Admittedly, I’m all spooked out at the moment and coming up with fun new Halloween looks is a struggle, so perhaps in the next few posts I will focus my creativity on whipping up some more Autumnal looks as I have a fair few ideas in mind already. If any of you have any ideas for Halloween/Gore nail art that you’d like to see me attempt, please let me know.
