Modern Bohemia by Leighton Denny

Whilst I am taking a mini break from nail art, I thought I’d share some more Leighton Denny swatches only this time they are from his latest collection: Modern Bohemia. It is, as usual, an absolutely stunning collection which is going to be perfect for Autumn/Winter.
This collection has been inspired the nomadic, artistic feel of bohemian style that celebrates rich colours and expressive textures. True to Leighton Denny style, these polishes are all 5-free, chip-resistant and self levelling.
Let’s take a closer look…
Even though I love the colour, I don’t think that Serendipity particularly suits me. It is a pretty pearly pink with micro glitters and a soft shift effect. It dries down to a matte finish so I highly recommend a topcoat to bring out those subtle shimmers.
Its quite different to any of my other polishes, a one of a kind for sure. It took two coats for full and even cover.
This one is described as a ‘nostalgic, muted lavender with a gentle touch of pearl’, and I honestly couldn’t describe it better if I tried. An absolute beauty and a wonderful addition to my shelf!
Again, this took just two coats for perfect coverage.
I love this colour way more than I actually thought I would. It’s a lush green-gold with pretty shimmers throughout that reflect golden-yellow glimmers. Another unique polish to add to my collection.
Here I’m wearing just two easy coats with a glossy topcoat.
Dreamcatcher is my most favourite polish out of the Modern Bohemia collection. It is a gorgeous deep plum-purple with lots of twinkle! I think everyone needs this polish in their life.
The formula is very consistent and again only took two quick coats.
A super glossy rich and juicy grape-red polish that just screams Autumn is here! To repeat myself for the final time today, the photo shows two swift coats for full and even cover.
I decided to pop this glitter topper over a nice dark polish, and Vintage Chic was the perfect choice I feel. I only used one coat as I felt that adding another would be a little too heavy.
Free Spirit uses a variety of glitters in all shapes and sizes, sticking to a rose-gold/silver palette. It will pair fabulously with each of the other colours within Modern Bohemia, but also with any other polish you own - glitter makes everything even more perfect after all!
The collection as a whole is truly beautiful, time and time again does this brand release such a great selection of colours, textures and formulas. Always expect the best from Leighton Denny nails! This is why I will always be a true supporter of the brand, it never fails to surprise and inspire.
Each polish is 12ml and £12 and can be found on the website HERE.
Which is your favourite colour? Have you treat yourself to any of the colours? I’d love to know.
Thank you for reading,
Love, Leanne Xx
