Black and Red Gradient Nail Design

*Contains PR Products*

I hope you all aren’t getting fed up of Halloween nail art yet, because I have some more for you today!

For this design I have used a black and red gradient underneath some stamping…

I have been making the most out of the polishes Kindly sent over by Barry M, and today is no exception. This time I’m using Passionfruit and Black Forest along with Cotton for the stamping.

Here’s a little step-by-step of how to achieve this look:

  • Apply base coat

  • Use a cuticle protecter (liquid latex) and allow to dry

  • Paint your nails with the lightest colour being used for the gradient - in this case it’s Passion fruit - and allow to dry

  • Next, paint lines of the chosen colours of your gradient - for this it was a line of passion fruit, and a line of Black Forest - onto a makeup sponge

  • Working fairly quickly, gently dab the sponge onto the nail to create your desired effect (I chose to have the darkest colour near the cuticle, but you could totally switch that up!)

  • Once happy, seal it all in with a topcoat - I preferred to use a matte one

  • When your nails are dry, its time for the stamping! Pick your design and a colour that will pop out against the base colours. I chose a web design from the Lina Spooklicious Plate, and Cotton which is the lovely bright white

  • I decided to add a touch of sparkle onto the webs, I just used a holo topper and brush to place the glitters where I wanted

Super easy! What do you think of the finished look?

Thank you for reading,

Love, Leanne Xx
