Soap and Glory Mega Haul: Part 2

I hope that you all enjoyed part 1 of my Soap and Glory Mega Haul as we are going to dive right back in for part 2! If you haven’t read it yet please CLICK HERE so that this one will make more sense.

I have to say that trying out all of these wonderful bath/body goodies has been a fab experience, and I think I may have found quite a few new staple items. There have also been a few pieces that I probably wouldn’t repurchase, including the first couple in this post …

Mist You Madly Body Spray

As with most sprays, this has quite the kick to it when first spritzed. However it does settle down after a moment or two and it does have a pleasant smell. The bottle is pink and pretty, it would look great on your vanity or on your bathroom shelf, but it’s not something that I would repurchase.

Yes it looks and smells good, but to be honest after using my deodorant and perfume, there really doesn’t seem to be much need for this additional spray. Just my opinion!

If however you love a good body spray, you can grab this particular one from Boots for £6.50 and it comes in a 250ml bottle.

Original Pink Body Spray

Carrying on from the above, here is another item that I won’t be dashing out to buy. Again it smells good (though I do prefer the scent of Mist You Madly to this) and looks good, but I don’t feel the need to add it to my fragrance collection/routine.

This comes in a 100ml bottle for £4

The Daily Smooth Body Butter

I love, love, love this body butter, it smells absolutely delicious! It would also team up well with the first body spray discussed as it is scented with Mist You Madly which has notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, vanilla and more.

It has a beautiful rich texture that melts into the skin leaving it feeling like silk with no stickiness or greasiness. Made up of cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and a few other impressive ingredients, this is going to be a superstar for your skin all year round.

I will definitely be repurchasing this badboy, though it may be a while before I reach the end of the 250ml tube as a little does go a long way.

This can be bought for just £9.

Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em Body Buff

This is probably my least favourite item out of the entire haul. If you enjoy a very, very gentle body scrub - you will adore this. I like to feel something a touch stronger like a sugar scrub, to make me feel like I have had a right good clean and my skins all new again. I don’t get that feeling with this at all.

It does smell incredible though, it has that same Mist You Madly Scent, so if you’re thinking of gifts for someone you could take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer at Boots and get this, the Daily Smooth Body Butter and Mist You Madly Body Spray for less than £20. Bargain, especially since it comes in a huge tub - 300ml to be exact.

There are some really good ingredients in here too, which I am noticing across the board with S&G products. This scrub contains Sea Salt and Jojoba which are brilliant for the skin.

To purchase separately it costs a mere £8.

Original Pink Hand Food

I love a good hand cream, you can’t really go wrong with them so I was happy to find this in the bundle.

This one smells nice, though not as nice as the Call of Fruity one mentioned in Part 1, but it has the same consistency and feels very hydrating. I like to look after my hands and nails as I do a lot of swatching for other brands, so this is a welcome addition to my stash.

To buy this 50ml tube it would cost only £3.

Fizz - A - Ball Bath Bombs

These didn’t come in the bundle but they were on the 3 for 2 deal, so I decided to try all scents out. There is:

  • Original Pink - Rose and Bergamot

  • Sugar Crush - Sweet Lime Zest

  • Smoothie Star - Sweet Vanilla Musk

They all smell wonderful, and I am partial to a bath bomb - they just give your bath time extra sparkle! These certainly add more sparkle as they have a generous dusting of glitter which I thought would annoy me, but you don’t emerge from the bath looking like a fairy god mother, it doesn’t seem to stick to the skin. You will need to quickly rinse round the tub after though to prevent any grumbles from the fellas in the house who surprisingly don’t like the sparkle. Who knew?!

My favourite out of the three has to be Smoothie Star, anything with Vanilla wins my heart, but the Sugar Crush comes in a very close second. I’ll be talking about some other products in part 3 that have the same scent and spoiler alert: I love them too!

Each bath bomb costs just £4, so you could treat yourself or another whilst the 3 for 2 offer is on to all three for less than a tenner. They make for the perfect stocking stuffers. If you fancy trying these out, or any other product mentioned in my haul, please CLICK HERE

Right, I shall call it a day on this post as it does seem to be getting a bit lengthy…

In the third and final instalment of my epic haul we can explore the remaining 8 products and I’ll do a quick break down of my absolute faves, and my absolute not-so faves!

Thank you for reading, see you tomorrow!

Love, Leanne Xx
