Play Time With the Jeffree Star Blue Blood Palette

(KISS Products lashes in style Veil)
Well it has been quite a while since I sat down and had a play with my makeup and shared it on here! I treat myself to the Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette as soon as it was available to be purchased here in the UK, and I have to say it is just as beautiful as the Blood Sugar palette, same pigmented and buttery formula. Love it. I won’t be going into too much detail in regards to a review with this product as I know that it has been on the market for quite the while meaning that there are hundreds if not thousands of reviews out there for you to check out.
Anyway, enough blabbering, let’s take a look at the little makeup look I came up with using this palette…
I think what I’ll do is make a quick list of products used, then I’ll do a mini review for some of the stand out items…
Foundation - Make Up Revolution in C1
Concealer - Wet N Wild Photo Focus in Soft Ivory (I bought this before it came out that this brand is no longer cruelty free, and I shan’t be buying from them again!)
Brows - I just used a dark brown eyeshadow out of the Morphe 35c palette with an angled brush - don’t come for me! I love how it looks.
Eyeshadow - Jeffree Star Blue Blood Palette, Blue Blood in the crease blown out with I’m Cold, a pinch of Blue Monday on the outer corner and Cullinan on the lid. I mirrored the colours used on the lid on the lower lash line.
Eye Liner - Jeffree Star Blue Blood Palette, Undertaker. I used this to fill in the gaps between the lashes on the upper waterline.
Lashes - KISS products in Veil
Mascara - Pur Big Look
Blush - Pixi Beauty + Dulce Candy Sweet Glow palette, and I’ve used shades Pan Dulce and Brilliante mixed together
Highlight - Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow palette, and I used shades Luna and Orion mixed together
Lips - Jeffree Star Liquid Lip in Hunty
At the beginning of the post I already raved about the Blue Blood palette being a very pigmented, buttery formula, and it truly is. I think his eyeshadows have come a long way since the Beauty Killer palette.
The KISS lashes in Veil really stand out to me as well, they apply so easily, they feel really light in such a way that you forget you’re wearing them, the band is a nice size and doesn’t look too chunky, and they look incredible, not too over the top - just beautiful!
I feel sure I’ve spoken about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora palette before, but I still absolutely love it and use it often. The colours are so pretty and give you the most glorious glow.
The Pixi Blush palette has become an everyday make up must have for me, it gives you a lovely flush to the cheeks with a radiant glow but without any pesky glitters. Plus, the formula with them is lush, not dry and powdery at all and works really well with my dry skin.
The only thing I’ve used that I wouldn’t actually recommend is the Pur Mascara, the Big Look mascara. I’ve been wearing this quite a lot lately and I have noticed that throughout the day I notice little black flakes coming away onto my under eye area. I think it must just be this mascara and not Pur Mascaras as a whole because their Volume Vixen is one of my all time faves and I’ve never experienced this problem with it.
I finished the whole look off with one of my favourite wigs which I got from Black Candy Fashion Wigs who currently are not in business. Fingers crossed they will make a come back in the future.
So I think that is everything guys, what do you think? Do you like this look? Do you have the Blue Blood Palette? Let me know!
Thank you for reading,
Love, Leanne Xx
