Make-Up Setting Spray for less than £10

I have been on a mission lately to find the perfect setting spray for my makeup. I seem to spend so long carefully applying and blending my makeup for it to crack under pressure at work. I've previously used the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray, which I loved, but I quickly went through it and to be honest, I'm not prepared to pay for the bigger bottle.

Setting powders are a no-no for me too, as they tend to make my face look dry throughout the day, and my makeup begins to look cakey and patchy in areas.

So when the hubby and I were mooching around town a week or so ago, I went on the hunt! I was in dismay, either prices were too high, bottles too small or the brands weren't cruelty free. I came out of Debenhams and saw across the way - The Body Shop. I always forget to look in here, and I really must start to shop here more often as they have so many amazing products to choose from, and the businesses ethics are definitely on point. As soon as you walk through the doors you are welcomed too which I love.

The Bodyshop Vitamin E Hydrating Face Mist

Making my way over to the makeup section I was really struggling to see any kind of setting spray. Fortunately one of the assistants noticed and asked if she could help. She directed me to the Vitamin E range, which I have used certain products from before and was very impressed with. There sat the Vitamin E Hydrating Face Mist, and even though it's not labelled as a setting spray, I was advised that I could use it as one. Fair enough!

There was an offer on in store too, 3 for 2 on selected beauty and makeup items so I picked up two bottles and a small bottle of perfume which I'll briefly talk about later.

Back to the Face Mist, for 100ml it costs £9.50 which I thought was really great value. I've been using this product very generously every day since purchased and there is still loads left! It can be used on all skin types and as it contains rosewater it will help to refresh and hydrate throughout the day. The mist has a wonderful delicate scent, very pretty indeed.

I've noticed that since using this my makeup has stayed flawless throughout the working day, no patchiness, no cakiness, it's great. I highly recommend this product to you, it wont break the bank and it'll last you for ages. Just hold a fair distance away from the face, and go wild! It's the perfect wake-me-up on a morning too, which is great for me as I'm really not a morning person haha!

The Bodyshop Red Musk Eau de Toilette

Really quickly I wanted to tell you about this scent as it is something I wouldn't normally go for, but I really, really like it. If you prefer spicy rather than sweet scents, this is definitely for you. I've been using this constantly and have nearly run out of it - oh no! Guess I'll need another trip to the Body Shop....

I picked up the 30ml bottle to make the most of the 3 for 2 offer, and it is priced at £13. I think next time I'll happy buy the full size 100ml for £24 as it really does smell divine and I find it to last longer throughout the day than other branded perfumes do.

Both products mentioned are cruelty free, as are all products from this business.
