Lip Duals by Leighton Denny

**these items were gifted to me, but I'm a blogger and couldn't help myself from posting!**

I have been experimenting more and more with my makeup so when I received all of these gorgeous colours I could have exploded with giddiness! They are of course the Lip Duals by Leighton Denny, they are double ended so you get a lipstick and a lip stain all in one.

There are ten in total to show you in this post, though if you go to the website there are even some matching lip & nail combos...

Lets take a look at the softer, cuter, 'girl next door' shades...

Lip Dual Leighton Denny

These are really pretty pink to red shades that are so flattering, even with my red hair and milky white skin tone! It's hard to pick a favourite out of these first five, but I suppose if you really bent my arm I'd say 'In the Nude' (second to last) as it's the one that goes with any makeup look, it just gives your lips a little flirty something extra haha!

I've also been using 'Deal with it' (very last) quite a bit recently, for those days when you're feeling bright, bold and confident and want everyone to notice! It's also a great lippy to turn to if you want your eyes to be quite soft but still have a pop of colour.

Next, let's look at the sexier, deeper, 'goth chic' shades...

Aren't they something?!

I'm absolutely living for the 'catwalk queen' (very last) it's so easy to wear, and I just love the shade. 'Hot for Chocolate' (first one) is a close second, very rich, very dramatic, beautiful.

It might just be me, but some of these lipsticks have a really yummy scent too, almost cupcake-y, which I like!

Lets take a look at my far from perfect swatches...though I'm sure you've seen worse attempts out there....right?

Swatches

These took me forever to do...and I even enlisted the help of my hubby haha!

Anyway, overlooking the quality of swatches, at least it gives you an idea as to how they look on the skin...

The formulas are really soft and creamy, so easy to use. Some colours have a soft sheen, some dry down to a lush matte, I'm partial to a matte lip these days.

The lip stains are wonderful too and not to be overlooked, worn underneath the lippy ensures your colour lasts all day long.

Each Lip Dual costs £12.50 which I find to be a very reasonable price. You've got two products in one, a great choice of colours, and that fabulous creamy formula which lasts all day. You just cant go wrong.

Do you have any Lip Duals? Which is your favourite colour?

Thank you you for reading,
