Bargain Loose Powder you can't be Without
I discovered this product as an add on item on Amazon believe it or not! Though I seem to vaguely recall hearing about this W7 Banana Dreams Powder sometime ago, and it had been highly regarded. At a bargain price of £2.95 - compared to £6.95 full price on the W7 website, I had to try it.
It arrived on the same day, my husband and I are loving Amazon Prime haha! I gave it a whirl the very next day and fell in love. Needless to say, I immediately stocked up on a few more tubs...
Usually setting powders really dry out my skin, make it look cakey and crease throughout the day. The complete opposite of what it's supposed to do! This one does none of that, it sets my makeup perfectly, stops creasing around my eyes, and also keeps my makeup in place on the T-Zone, a place that goes quite patchy as the day goes on.
The banana powder is very light and easily applied with a fluffy face brush, a little goes a long way, and even though it has a yellowy tinge it doesn't make your skin look yellow. It is described on W7 website as follows...
Banana Dreams is a finely milled, translucent powder with a pale yellow tone. Containing silica, Banana Dreams is the ideal product for setting make-up, camouflaging undertones and contouring without giving off a cakey look. The powder can be used under the eyes for highlighting purposes as well as the T- Zone.Perfect for all skin types and tones, it's become a must-have in many make-up bags!
I've yet to try it for contouring purposes, but the rest I 100% agree with. I'm also happy to say that W7 as a brand is completely cruelty free. They don't test on animals, and even though they sell their products overseas, if they know that a country do conduct these tests they withdraw from sales activities in those areas.
I've never tried this brand before, but I'm looking forward to testing out some more products from their range. Have you tried any of their products? Leave me recommendations in the comments!
