A manicure and pedicure salon has been set to take over a salon in Paris’ financial district, where it was shuttered by the city earlier this year.
The French manicurist, whose name has not been disclosed, has set up shop in the former Toulouse-Nord in the 17th arrondissement, where a number of other businesses have closed over the past few years.
The owner of the salon, the 32-year-old former teacher, told France Info that the location has not yet been finalized but that he would welcome visitors from across France.
“I think the business has a very good future.
I’m very optimistic,” he said.
Toulouse’s other two-storey building, which was a restaurant and bar, was demolished to make way for the salon.
Another French manicuring salon in the city was closed in 2014.
