A French manicurist has been threatened with death for creating a new manicure inspired by the deadly Boston Marathon bombings.
Jacques Faubert created the first of two fuchsia and orange manicures on Tuesday.
He was told to leave the salon by police.
The French-Canadian told CBC News the threats were so serious he decided to take a break from his job.
Faubert said he received so many death threats he had to cancel all his appointments.
He said he was afraid his salon would be burned down or his business could be taken over.
He plans to use the $4,000 he received for his work to pay for legal fees.
Feubert said the manicures have inspired a lot of people and he’s grateful for their support.
